The Office of Alumni Affairs and Development
The office of Alumni Affairs and Development exists to foster connections between and among alumni and between alumni and the University. Our team works to develop services and benefits, manage events, bring you news about other alumni and the university, and create opportunities for alumni and friends of the university to give back to Memorial.
Alumni Affairs
The Alumni Affairs division is responsible for building lasting relationships with the alumni body through event programming and services offerings (think of it as ‘friend-raising’). They are responsible for the Tribute Awards, events and reunions, as well as services and benefits such as degree framing and discount programs for alumni.
Development
Development Officers are directly responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors. They interact and work collaboratively with senior academic and administrative officers, and are involved in or provide support for all Alumni Affairs and Development campaigns. The Research unit researches, analyzes, interprets and communicates complex information in support of Memorial’s efforts to raise funds and develop institutional relationships. Development is currently hiring Student Communicators for our Annual Fund program. Visit the student employment section.
Advancement Services and Operations
The Advancement Services and Operations division offers services to support the Development and Alumni Affairs function. They also handle Information Management, Financial Services, Gift Administration and Human Resources for the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development.
