Of the numerous jobs available on campus, the position of Student Communicator is a unique one. A special caliber of student makes a successful Telefund team member - and we are looking for the best of the best!

You'll have the opportunity to reach out to Memorial's alumni and friends. We ask for financial support, but it's also about keeping the Memorial family in touch. This job is an important one. The funds we raise benefit the students of Memorial University.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Calling alumni between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00pm, Monday to Thursday and Sunday, 3:00pm - 7:00 pm.
  • Working with your team to ensure specific goals are met.
  • Share upcoming events with alumni and answer any questions they might have.
  • Gain a greater understanding of the university and its annual need for support - you'll get to learn more about the advancement of post-secondary education.

This position pays $10.50/hr plus great prizes and other incentives just for doing a great job (i.e. friendship building with alumni, increasing pledges, etc...). As well, there are NO FRIDAY OR SATURDAY SHIFTS!
